... 000 square meters of parkland, and is a joy to walk through. Huge trees are towering over your head, and you can’t hear the city at all. A perfect oasis in the city to get away from the crowds and the noise for a bit. The temple itself are several beautiful wooden buildings with large trees growing out of the middle of them. Another worthwhile stop.

Our next stop was to Artnia, the shop/café run by Square-Enix, the company that makes ...

Just around the corner we spy an Italian restaurant, like a shot we're in and asking for a ...

We ended up walking to another train stop then taking the cab back to the hotel that was only 5 minute walk from the station we got off at. Wish I had my camera out on some of ...

... seen so a fun little stop. Other than the Gundam we saw the Statue of Liberty, yes the lady is here in Tokyo. It is a replica the same size as the one in Paris an was fun to see and surprising to see. We had a nice walk along the waterfront before heading inside on what was our sunniest and hottest day in Japan. It turned out to be a good stop as Cindy was looking for a pearl ring and we have had trouble finding a jewelry store. Well there was a number in the mall near the Gundam so ...

... noodles crossed with an omelette). They make it in front of you and serve it on the hot plate on your table. For our second day in Kyoto we visit the 'Golden Temple' with the Dutch guy from our hostel. We get caught in a downpour so only view the temple in the wet but there are several school groups there who are asking us questions in English about our favourite Japanese things which is completely adorable! From there we walk to Ryoanji Temple which includes the zen ...
