... next day we were here so we didn't start our volunteer work because of the weather conditions but we did get a chance to prepare and teach the kids some English using the game hang man and having them spell animal names in english for us! It's hard to communicate with children who barely speak English but they are so opened minded and understanding! Overall, they are learning well and they seem to know more English than ...

At the end of the day, we deserved a reward after our long walk, so we stopped at a hot spa ...

It was the most beautiful temple I have see since I've been here in Thailand. It was all white on the outside and was literally sparked in the sun! The intricate detail that was in every inch was incredible. The artist put a lot of time ...

... the hostel obviously took a lot of pride in her palace, which is always nice. Chiang Rai is a town close to the border, and is a lot more Thai than the other places we have been- not many people speak English, there aren't as many tourists, and the aren't people constantly trying to sell you tours. Many Thais come here to see the White Temple, which is something we thought we would give a go, although we are pretty templed out, this is a whole different board game. First of ...
