... canyon. Last but not least, I think it was a bar for guys to find a nice local girl to spend time with for the evening. We of course didn't realize this until we started playing poll witha British guy and his local friend. We stayed a bit longer and decided to call it a night uing the excuse that we had an early bus ride in the morning.

And that sums up our time in Chiang Rai. We really enjoyed the stop.

... I had packed some smoked salmon from home to share with a homestay family, so I decided to use it to make pasta with salmon. ... an innocent movie kind of way, but it was also partly creepy in a spiritual way. It was not a place that I wanted to stay at for a long time. Even in the midst of all that though, I was aware of the darkness, but I wasn't afraid. I know Who has the ultimate authority!
