... public and private lives. The garden area was beautiful, and extended up the hill into dense forest.

Unfortunately, the Matsue History Museum was closed today, so after crossing the Kitasomon Bridge, which is the gateway to the castle, reconstructed in 1994 as a duplicate of the original wooden bridge from the Edo era, we took ourselves off for a leisurely lunch and an early day to get ready for our trip tomorrow, when we get the bus to Osaka.

It was really interesting to see how quiet and respectful all the students were during the assembly. After a tour of the school, we took part in three English classes.
