... had planned their days out in the park, the blossoms were already starting to scatter.

However, I did get to see the outside of the Imperial Gardens as the cherry trees were just bursting into bloom, walk along the Meguro River of an evening when the blossoms were at their peak, and spend part of a day in Inokashira Park, being showered by falling petals, so it wasn't a total wash.

... Fuji and could really appreciate its magnitude over the mountains around it. The pictures just don't capture what a magnificent view it truly is. After we tried to take in the mountain and all its splendor, we did venture over to the sulfur vents where there is a must-buy food, black eggs. ... a 45 minute queue to get tickets, I decided to skip going up it. The humidity was at it's peak of the day, and after a few hours of walking around in it, I decided to head back to the hostel to cool off. City of Akabari. Packed with electronic gadgets, shops full of latest
technology and Manga. Tonnes of Manga characters, books and little
gadgets even section for over 18's - crazy streets and little corners.
