... wedding gown, and Kirk dashing in his three piece suit. The ceremony was lovely with a champagne toast to the couple at the end. We mingled in the reception hall afterwards, while the newly married couple took more photos with their family and bridal party. Dinner was delicious and plentiful, and then the dancing began. Once Julia and Kirk had danced their first dance, and the ones with their parents, everyone got on ...

July 26th- Thur - Up early and had breakfast. I finished the book I was reading and then headed to town. My phone and my Bluetooth were not ‘talking’ to each other. I had charged the Bluetooth and then nothing worked. It took the guy at Verizon quite a while to solve it and he finally took the battery out of the phone, put it back in and re-paired the 2 and it worked! Now I feel better in the ...

Had a great stay at Shiloh Inn in Salem. Friendly staff, good service.

    What a professional place

    from anonymous

My husband and I just wanted to let you know that our stay at the Shilo Inn Suites-Salem was a breathe of fresh air when it comes to staying at a hotel. Every staff member was thoroughly professional and personable, the facilities were very nice, rooms beautiful. I just can't say enough. I want to go on vacation again just to go there and stay for a week!!!!!

Shilo was way more than we expected

    from anonymous

I'm from Gig harbor Washington and my wife and I were on our way to California last month. We Decided to stay at the Shilo inn in Salem Oregon for the night. What a great experience it was. The rooms were very beautiful, clean and spacious. We were made to feel like royalty for the night. If we weren't in such a hurry to get to California We would have stayed another night or two. The rooms were much nicer than the Hotel we stayed in down in California and those rooms were more than twice the price. We plan to come back again soon.

    Excellent customer service

    from anonymous

I was busy for the three full days I stayed there, but the hotel was relaxing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff went out of thier way to accomidate me. Cheers.

    Very helpful

    from anonymous

I stayed at the Shilo on a Tuesday night, I just loved the homey atmosphere. The beds were great and I usually have problems sleeping in another bed besides my own. The only drawback was the pricing of the bottled water in the bucket at the front desk. But the long haired guy behind the counter was so helpful, not only did he agree about the ridiculous price but he told me about a convenience store two blocks away from the hotel where I could buy the water at three for the price of one at the hotel. Like I said homey atmosphere and very helpful staff. I would definately stay again.

    Best customer service EVER!

    from hardenedcriminal

I have always liked the Shilo Inn in Salem. I have been a business traveler and staying at the Shilo Inn Salem since 1999 when the General Manager there went out of his way to help me with my baggage. Now THAT is customer service. Other than the occasional comment card, I never wrote down my positive experiences.

This week I was in Salem to do business and of course, I stayed at the Shilo. Again, the General manager, I believe his name was Steve or Stan, helped me with my baggage. This is the best place to stay EVER! I have stayed at 5 diamond resorts before and I NEVER had the General Manager help me with my bags at those places where I spend $250 or more!

Mr. Shilo you have a customer for life!

    Would stay there again!!

    Shilo made my wedding

    from anonymous

All of my out of town wedding guests stayed and LOVED IT!! Very friendly, and helpful staff. The breakfast is excellent, and everyone enjoyed relaxing in the spa or swimming in the hotel's very clean and sparkling indoor pool. The bonus is microwave and mini-fridge in the rooms. Popcorn and cookies at night, what a treat!!

    Excellent service, value, & rooms.

    from anonymous

I stayed 2 nights in january 2005. The staff is very friendly and receptive. The rooms were huge and clean. I found the staff to be very attentive and helpful when giving recommendations to area attractions and restaurants. The room had internet access and the hotel is located near everything, including the movie theater. There was a continental breakfast every morning at no extra cost. This hotel is definitely worth the money. It is situated far enough off the street that after a long drive from Olympia, WA, I was able to sleep very quietly on the big comfortable queen sized bed. I will definitely be staying here again!
