    ... what spectacular views from up there! The campsite looked like a miniature play-area from atop the cliffs and we could see down the Coulee for miles...beautiful! Next time we hope to hike the other peak, so we get both views!

    Tomorrow we part company with the Pitres and head off for an exciting bike ...

    ... it travels okay. We'll get it taken care of in Great Falls, our second home... That's the problem with having a house that you drive. You just never know...

    We stayed, parked, in front of Lisa and Rich's house until this morning, Thursday. Lisa had Tuesday off, still on vacation, but Rich went back to work. We did a bit of shopping and went out for lunch, with Lisa, at Red Robin. The food was good.

    After our stay in West Yellowstone, we got on the gas pedal pretty good. Passed some historic mining areas in western Montana and Idaho, and had to go up, up, up, again over Homestake Pass, at 9,600 feet, and through the granite canyons known as the Boulder Batholith, a huge formation that stretches from Butte up to Helena, Montana.
