    We are all checked in and awaiting going through security. Andrew has come to see us off and we are chilling at Pret a Manger. Wish we had those in NZ. Sitting here thinking of all the experiences we have had over the last five weeks and all of the people we have met.     ... shopping was the best way to fill some of our time. So off Shane, Ross and I went to check out the shops in the central area of Berlin. So many great shops and so little luggage space meant that unfortunately not many items were purchased but it was great to just hang with Shane. We ended our last night with dinner out ...

    ... No Exchanges! No Takey Backeys! And no going back to economy class!! Ouch...my next Visa Bill is gonna hurt! I'd best go get a few drinks to soothe the pain!!     The flight to Bangkok was uneventful. The plane was probably only at 25% of it's capacity due to the well publicized political troubles in the city.

    The flight was smooth and the service was good. The food was average which was surprising as the airline has a reputation for authentic Thai cuisine. This might have been down to the menu, which didn't inspire me. There were snacks available ...
