We're Off!
... brought me a Kindle, which I know will be getting a lot of use in the next few weeks. Also had a family dinner, with a go karting session before hand. Thanks to my brothers and others for letting me win! Strange to be saying farewells to everyone. My brothers family produced a fantastic present of a cake with a model of Gerty sitting proudly on top.

I'm currently waiting at heathrow for Grace to arrive from Los Angeles. She left Brisbane a few days before me and headed for San Francisco to meet up with her Canadian friend. They stayed in San Francisco for a few days and then went on to Las Vegas, leaving for the UK on NZ2 from Los Angeles. I hope she is not too worn ...

... Early start to the day again!!! Crashed at Aars' after one classy meal at the harvester. Ya gotta love unlimited salad, but unfortunately my bowels don't agree - error! Smooth journey so far. Yaz had a good frisk at check in! Standard! The long hair on me and the brown-ness of Yaz guarantees one of us a pat down! A 7 hour wait is on the cards in Mumbai before heading off to Bangkok. Lucky ...

... but cannot for the life of me remember which), apply for an International Driving Licence, get my vaccinations done and have my eyes looked at before I buy 10 months of contact lenses.
I just hope I can be as productive as that every day from now on until I leave.
