A lovely walk through the forest for about 40 minutes before the hot springs pools where they tend to congregate. We had no idea of what was happening, but it was a lovely drive first past apple and grape orchards and then on very narrow steep roads to the ski fields including Nozowan.     I rode from my friend's place in Shinagawa to the Tokyo train station this morning to very little traffic as it was a holiday Monday here.
