It looked for all the world like beef, but when I got it home it was, to the best of my taste buds knowledge and my mouths memory of textures, not of animal origin.     Sunday today and the traffic was just chaos ! Also the pollution was really bad. We caught a cab down on the roundabout, Ginger, one of the other teachers was doing the same thing, he is off to visit his mother in Beijing. Our Taxi was taking us to the Whitehorse Temple/Pagoda. It took around 45 minutes and the traffic was just horrid. How people are not killed every 5 minutes is beyond me, Kathryn keeps saying "Just don't look" ...

    ... tea break and we went and had Beef Noodles at the Muslim Shop. We got a huge bowl of Beef Noodles all freshly made to order for 10 yuan, that's about $1.50 for them both....freaking unreal ! It was good food too. I watched the man making the noodles, he was fantastic and made it look so easy.

    ... was Farsi but not sure. She must be quite strict with her religion as she wouldn't eat anything as she didn't know what it was cooked with. She is studying tourism management at one of the universities in Luoyang. I had a lot of difficulty understanding her so I don't even know her name. She has written down her email address but it is in Chinese so it is no use to me.
