... days of these classic coast road scenery supposed to be counted. A new fancy double laned highway was under construction to replace the cosy winding country road!
Arrived to Antaly and expecting a noisy and chaotic city I was completely surprised: I approached a nice organized city with an Old Town Quarter who really apealed me that much, that I decided to stay for the night. I agree: Defenitley the most beatiful city in Turkey!
Without a doubt the most chilled place in Turkey, far gone the hagglers, the beggars, the hangers on and all those bloody package holiday/long weekenders bumping up our prices and making sure that every fecker thinks that every pale or pink face needs to be relieved of our bulging wallets full of easy money!

As we drove towards Antalya we were awed again at the contrast between the rugged mountains and the jewel colored blue sea. Even more amazing was where the two would meet - often with us hanging tightly to the road in between. It was a very pleasant hour and a half. Then we entered Antalya. According to my guide book Antalya is the fastest growing city in ...
Antalya, Turkey turkeytrottersThe drive from Cappadocia to Antalya was long and boring. It was 7 hours long! In the middle, we stopped at a buffet-type restaurant. Finally we got to our hotel, which turned out to be a 5 star reort owned by the richest family in Turkey. When we got there, everybody did something. I played tennis with Gracey, Hayley played on the playset, and my parents drank tea ...
Antalya, Turkey familyhirsch... purchased very reasonably here. I've never owned a leather jacket so it might be a nice souvenier to take home with me. Just have to wait and see what quality I can find at a price I can afford. Tonight, I will attend the Nutcracker Suite performance at the city's cultural center. I was lucky to get a seat as the performance was nearly sold out. Though near a side aisle I think I shall be able to see well enough and the music will I'm sure be readily heard. The ticket was only 5 ...
