    ... plate info and Harley offered to restore or replace the bike. The owner declined as he was still overwhelmed emotionally, having lost his home and 3 family members in the tsunami but he requested that it be kept at the Harley Museum as a memorial to those lost during the 2011 tsunami.

    I still get excited the night before any trip and as a result I usually end up having a fairly restless sleep... last night was no exception.     ... we will usually change our route to incorporate it. Always been worth it so far. Some of the houses along Lake Michigan were so large and opulent - mansions. Along the beaches, there were lots of people taking advantage of the good weather. The water in Lake Michigan is very very cold though we did see a few people swimming. These lakes are so huge - I guess that's why theya re called the Great Lakes. Ha Ha. It's like most things, knowing and seeing can be 2 very diffferent ...

    ... now. Seeing people who provide for themselves, and their families, but who have such a calm, stress free demeanor was amazing. It made me a little disgusted at how much STUFF we have. And made me feel like we're on a hamster wheel. But at the same time, it would be impossible to live a Guatemalan life in our culture.     ... and just chill. The park has baseball diamonds and enough green space to play a game of soccer or to just run around. We found that this park might be a great place for anyone to go on an afternoon or day off to just unwind.
