Historical Traveler Reviews of Sheraton Vistana Villages Orlando

This Place was outstanding.

from A TripAdvisor Member
I went to Orlando in 2000, when this hotel or resort was brand spankin new. It was nice all the way down to the tile floor and cotton sheets.

The time-share people did haggle somewhat ,, but after tell them I wasnt interest they gave my tickets to the park.

Truly Awesome Villa!!!

The beauty & luxury of these villa's were truly unbelievable. We definitely recommend this resort. You wont be disappointed.

Fantastic!

from travelmadgirl
This place is fabulous!! We stayed there for a week in September 2001.

We had a 2 bedroom villa which included a fully equipped kitchen, living/dining area, 2 bathrooms and even a jacuzzi in the master bedroom!

There was 2 swimming pools to choose from and it was nice and vast....

All I can say is that the brochure I saw beforehand didn't do justice to the place. Highly recommend this place. I'd go back to Orlando just to stay at this place again...!

Awesome Vacation!

We visited Vistana Villages August of 2002, it was by far the nicest place that we have ever stayed at, we felt like royalty. My family stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, there were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. We booked it through Hotel Kingdom, we had no problems at all with our reservations. The main pool was huge and the property was absolutely gorgeous. The pictures of Vistana Villages that are online do not show how beautiful this resort truely is. My children had plenty of other children to play with and have kept in contact with a few of them via the internet. I can't say enough good things about this resort, it was absolutely an awesome vacation!!!

Good amenities, but a good night's sleep?

Hello, this hotel certainly had outstanding amenities. A full kitchen, two bedrooms, a full living room, CD player, and a radio, what else could you ask for? However, there was one small issue I did not like.

The second bedroom did not seem to very spacious, it fits 4 people.

Comparing this to other two bedroom villas I've stayed at (in Orlando), I think they could have created more space in the secondary bedroom. It is not even 1/4 of the other bedroom's size.

Best Family Vacation Ever

I'm not sure if it was the quality of the Sheraton or the fact that the lines at Disney were non-existent that caused us to have such a great time. Our room was great, the pool was great and the staff was helpful and not to pushy on the time share. We went for 8 days, May 14 through May 22. I got a rate of $96.00/ plus tax for a one bedroom. The kids loved the pool. The zero depth area of the pool kept my 2 year old happy and my four year could go anywhere in the pool she wanted. My drive to Disney averaged about 11 minutes to the parking lots.I highly recommend this resort.

Our Stay At The Sheraton Vistana

from A TripAdvisor Member
My family stayed in a Vistana for 1 week. We loved the grounds. Our view was of the water fall and the pool area. We went out every day to see the sites, and by the time we returned, our room was clean, the beds were made, the dishes done, and the towels were all resupplied. We also liked the location of the place. It was within a few miles of everything we wanted to see. But it was just enough away that we were not in the middle of the traffic flow. Overall, we will definately stay here again.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.

I am always a little concerned about booking a hotel room based on the pictures I see of it on the web; this hotel, however, was beyong stunning. I have traveled extensively and I have yet to stay at a more beautiful hotel. The pictures on the web do it no justice. The rooms are wonderfullyappointed, so much so that my 2 1/2 year old daughter says that she wants to go back to the hotel because it was so beautiful. I stayed in the two bedroom villas which have a kingsized bed, a room with two doubles and a sleeper sofa. There are three tvs, a large dining table, a netted patio with table and chairs, two beautiful bathrooms, and a jacuzzi in the master bedroom. I would recommend this hotel to any and every body. I cant wait to go back!

Superb

Arrived here after immediatly checking out of Vistana Resort within 40 minutes given quality of accomodation - refer seperate review.

On arrival, staff were wonderfully welcoming.

Accomodation are fantastic.

Pool areas never over crowded.

Resort benefits from the fact that there are presently only 10 blocks.

Recommend to all.

Very nice!

I have just been back to Orlando - its my second time to stay here and my fourth hotel I stood in Orlando. This hotel is time share, maybe to show this around, and you can really show it around. Wonderful parks, excellent suites to stay in with all animities you can think of, very clean, new, simply good! The pool is big and great, in fact there are two pools, a small and quite one and a big one with water fall etc. I enjoyed the weekend very much at this place. So, whats the drawback: I like having an organized breakfirst while sitting outside under palms ... - to that extend its there, but its like a fast food train, everything out of plastic and no real choises or even a buffet. Also, if you have a beer at night at the bar, they give you it in a plastic cup. So would I go there again: Yes, its to nice :-).
