Best Ever!

I have been going to Orlando for the past 6 years with my mom and my two grandchildren. Together we purchased 1 week a year. We always stay at the "Lakes" at Sheraton Vistana, the largest square footage villa on the property. We opted for the 5th floor, with an elevator, because my mom is handicapped and does not go out as much as we do. She enjoys the view of the lake from the screened-in porch and she really enjoys "her room", the huge master bedroom. My grandchildren, who are now teenagers have participated in almost every activity that is available and enjoy it very much. It is close to theme parks, super markets and any thing else you might want to see or do. If I had a million dollars, I would buy 52 weeks at Vistana!

We ALL loved it there!!!

My husband and I took our 27 year old daughter, her husband, their son who is 6, and our 14 year old son to Vistana. We stayed in an older unit (the Fountains II)with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and thought it was great! The upkeep of the unit itself was fine and it provided all the comforts of home. I can't say enough about the resort. There was something for all of our age groups to do at all times and it is 1 mile from Disney! My son played basketball, got into Shuffleboard tournaments, and did Karaoke on teen Karaoke night. We all played tennis, swam in pools, and yes -- sat by and observed others in the Splash contest. We loved it sooooo much, we bought there and are going back in 4/03 AND 7/03.

Great time at Vistana

My family and I recently returned from a vacation at Vistana after purchasing ownership there without even seeing it. We were and still are amazed by the amount of ammenities offered. We came home a bought another week. I would recommend this resort highly.

Wonderful Experience

I recently visited Orlando, Florida for the first time with my family and stayed at the Sheraton Vistana Resort. I was a bit concerned because of prior reviews on this site, that stated the property was very old and out dated, but I was hoping for the best. My stay at this resort turned out to be a wonderful experience. I stayed in a older unit, but the units were very nice and clean. The grounds of the resort are well-kept and there are a variety of activities going on for the kids....not to mention the wonderful swimming pools that the facility has. I was so pleased that I did purchase a time-share units there. You won't regret staying at this resort.

Family Fun

In June 2001 we stayed at the Vistana Resort.

We had a lovely time. Having a 4yr old boy we found this place safe and relaxing. We gave food to the Ducks.

Walked some wonderful walks, Met some lovely people and enjoyed the whole place. I think families are well looked after, Plus you can just about buy anything on site. For us it was perfect a super family resort. Yes some of the apartments are older than others, But you will find the older apartments are in better locations with lots of wildlife about. We will be back in Aug 2002.

Great accommodations

In June, my husband and I took our two sons and their families to Disney. Actually the only resort that we could get in to (due to time constraints) happened to be Sheraton Vistana. We had seen this resort many years back and knew of its age and were not too sure BUT took it anyway.

The day we got there, check in was so easy. Although we were early, we were told that we could go ahead and check in and if one of the two units was ready that we could move our stuff on in. By being early, we beat the check in rush.

The units we were given were in the new section and they were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. I can't address the older units (as the above poster mentioned) but I can say that this resort has so many wonderful features and all nine of us had a marvelous time.

Amazed !

This was our families first trip to Orlando where we were not staying on Disney property. We were nervous staying here...but boy, were we AMAZED by the place and our room. We all loved it so much we are making arrangments to stay there again next year. We are even looking to buy a time-share there. It is truly a beautiful place. So much to do...tons of activities/specials for families and kids. I was worried about the hotel staff because of this one women's attitude with us over the phone, but was plesantly suprised how wonderfully we were treated in person. They were curtious and very accomodating. We stayed in a newer room and couldn't be happier with our entire trip there. We highly reccommend this resort.

Not satisfied

We stayed at Sheraton’s Vistana Resort in January 2002 and it was not a memorable time. The apartment we were given was a run down timeshare from 1980. Some painting had been done, but it looked every day its age. Verbal and written complaints were ignored and promises to call back likewise. There are other newer properties in the area for the same price that I would select to make sure I don’t end up in a similar situation again. Their Webpage does not mentioned their 20+ year old timeshare units.

Vistana Villages

I visited orlando 6 months ago and i still have the memories of how much i enjoyed it and now how i miss it, i stayed in the Vistana resort for accommodation with my mum, dad and brother and they all enjoyed it as well as the welcoming people around who where helpful and pleasant. I would definitly recommend a holiday to Orlando for every generation because you wont want to leave.

Beautifil Vistana

Vistana Resort in Orlando was the most beautiful accomadation my family has ever encountered. It has several pools with hot tubs and kiddie pools,lighted tennis courts, and amazing gazebos. It had the most beatiful greenery adn ponds with fish. My family had the best time feeding the fish and the resident ducks. The money we paid was well worth the quality and the wonderful service we recieved.
