... all the wine we bought); got breakfast (Starbucks bagels again) and got a taxi to the airport. We at least have the consolation of being in the First Class Lounge, complete with free food and drinks. But we have no exciting photos or tales to tell. One thing about Princess Cruises, they never leave you at a loose end.. always an activity of entertainment to occupy you..
There had been Naturalists, a female Iditerod winning musher ( who loved cats..) and park rangers from the various park areas we entered both on shore and in the ship... all very informative.. We did not bother with the cabaret and comedians...
All the Canada guidebooks we've looked at say that you have to go to Stanley Park whilst in Vancouver, so that was our plan for a hopefully-dry Monday. Wil, our host, told us that if we follow the road he lives on down a few blocks we get to the waterfront, and from there its just a pedestrian-and-cyclist-only path that goes straight to Stanley Park.
