The day has arrived and we are all packed and ready to leave for the airport, the flight starts at 12:30AM PST and ends at 12:20PM EST. ... beaches of Miami are a world unto itself, its exactly like the movies with models rollerblading, running and sunbathing up and down the boardwalk. You have every shape, size and color splashing in the ocean and getting some pretty impressive sunburns. I felt so sorry for some people, they could barely walk from the burn. After lunch, we did our laundry. While waiting about an hour to finish, we amused ourselves by taking photos in the laundromat and playing with some of the young kids who were there with their mothers. ... to look. Not quite the Titanic, but definitely plush. The ship itself is a bit smaller than we've sailed before. It has 1988 passengers and 980 crew. Interestingly, our captain is a woman! Our stateroom has a balcony and a clear view of the ocean. We are hoping it will enable us to view the canal without crowding up on the decks. Unfortunately, we are stuck with the 8:30 dining time which is really a bit late for us, but there is a waiting list of 150 to get the earlier ...
