This morning we made our way to the corner of Madison Avenue and 30th street to meet an ex MGC student who I taught Psychology last year. Ruby attended an audition for the American College of Dramatic Arts in Melbourne last year and was offered a place at the school. It was a very brief catch up in a small cafe but it was great to see how she is doing. Also exciting because the coffee was strong!! Then we went shopping again, this time for shoes. We both bought two pairs, they ...

We then walked around to the Strawberry Fields and John Lennon memorial. This is quite close to ...

There were displays of photos with quotes from people, a room of the missing person posters people had put up and then a room of wall to wall photos of the people that had died. It was pretty full.

Walked for miles then caught a ...

OMG what a day! Totally bloody exhausted but fantastic. Today we took a private tour with Real New York Tours. Aaron was our guide for the day, he was just awesome.

We started the day with a rundown of the NY subway then jumped on and headed to midtown and then walked to Central Park. On the way there we stopped to see the apartment building where John Lennon and Yoko Ono lived and where John was killed then into Central Park to see Strawberry Fields which ...
