When we got back the park was packed with people, but we were able to get back up to our campsite easily and make dinner. Flying Home
... and felt pretty awake when we arrived at IAD at 5:37 a.m. (48 minutes early).
We were the first international arrival of the day at IAD, so I was able to breeze through U.S. Customs & Border Protection with no line. I picked up my bag and just missed the 6:15 a.m. Washington Flyer bus by a few minutes, so I had to wait for the 6:45 to West Falls Church Station. From there, it was a long Orange Line and Green Line ride home, arriving at 8:03 a.m. to conclude my Ghana ...
