    ... I 'helped' milk the cows once: a great experience but not sure it would be a sustainable one for me- having to get up at 5.45 every morning is tough.

    The animals on the farm are all very diverse. Some are pets and some would like to be pets but the difference is known soon enough. The two farm cats are called Tom and Jerry. We crossed the James River (quite a bit smaller than the Murray River, in volume at least) and saw signs for Huguenot Trail, turned off our GPS and became even more excited that we were so close.
