I said that I didn't have any firm plans, and that gave me a segway into the next logical question "Do you want to do something together?". She said yes, and we exchanged Facebook information. Then she said she didn't know where to stay, but she wanted a private room for her stay in South Bali. ...

We were going to go yesterday, but I was wearing a beach shirt with no sleeves and that's a No-No so we'll go today with my groovy gecko shirt I bought in Bali. We went to a nearby museum instead, ...

Over 50% of the buddha statues are missing arms or heads after being stolen and then sold on for profit. We paid for a guide to show us around and thank god we did, he was brilliant. He told us such interesting stories including one where in 2006 he was part way through a tour when the floor beneath him shook and started swinging. They were stuck on the temple unable to get down, scared ...

Having conquered Mount Merapi, I took the opportunity to chill out in the morning in the village of Kaliurang, before heading down to the city of Yogyakarta. An ideal place to explore the local surrounding sites and a chance to try the local speciality – Nasi Gudeg, a curry consisting of Jackfruit served with rice and chicken, very sweet and pretty much available all over the city.

I'm tired and just want to go to bed without talking to Melissa (she probably thinks I am mad at her for choosing this location - I could care less), We have to be up early tomorrow to FaceTime the family at thanksgiving tomorrow. I'm interested to see how Melissa reacts and everything. I'm just very tired and cranky and can't handle any paranoia, small fears or anything else from her right now. I just need to go to bed and tomorrow is a new ...
