We assumed that they wanted photos with us (which had become a very regular occurrence) but it turns out that they were tourism students and they wanted to offer us a free tour of Prambanan Temple! result! They were all so sweet, with really good English and they really knew their stuff about the temple. Afterwards, they asked us to sign their feedback forms for their teacher, and we all took some photos together which was nice.

We had to get a boat to Java which should have only taken half an hour but it took about an hour and a half due to many boats also waiting to dock but on the boat we got talking to a lovely Javanese lady who introduced us to her children. she had taught herself English and other languages ...

... driving around the entire city. We didn't leave Malang until about 1130! We then got stuck in traffic for a while because of the Muslim Sacrifice Holiday and parades going on in the street. We also stopped halfway for a break, drinks and some food which took around half an hour or more. So the original plan of getting into Yogyakarta around 2 or 3 was off by 7 hours. Melissa also booked a hotel that was supposed to be in a good location in terms ...

Ally asked them how we could get to the Bamby deer which we had seen on the way in and so they took us out of the park to these and then bought us some vegetables to feed to the deer! It was wonderful and we gave them 25,000Rp as a thank you which they seemed very pleased with. We just had time for a quick trip to the loo before heading back to Jogja in the car. We actually arrived back about an hour early and so we went straight down to the ...
