Sheraton Lansing Hotel

The English Inn in Eaton Rapids (outside of Lansing Mi) is where we got married one year ago October 4, we went back to celebrate our anniversary and recall that "day of days". It was a little warmer this year but still a nice cool misty October afternoon / evening. In between my 12 credit schedule, a mentoring job, a research job, and being the president of a volunteer organization on campus, I decided to plan a trip to Spain for winter break (Dec. 18- Jan. 8). Last Tuesday, I was randomly looking for plane tickets to different parts of the world. I typed in Detroit to Madrid because of my deep enthusiasm for the Spanish languge and the culture of Spain. After a hectic weekend with graduation and parties, it's finally time to head overseas. I've been planning this trip for almost a year now, hard to believe it has finaly arrived. We depart DTW at 3 PM, make a couple stops on the east coast in Baltimore and Philly before we fly into Dublin. We will be there Tuesday morning. We are staying at the Ashfield House, located in the city centre. More info to come later.

... in the plants, the architecture, the water, statues, frescoes ... Even if you haven't studied Renaissance or ancient Roman architecture or art, anyone would appreciate the sights which are breath-taking. ... about. Why did someone not tell us that getting married the week before finals was a bad idea? AND trying to leave for a seven week trip all within 72 hours? Just madness! Homeward Bound 2008 Wednesday July 2, 2008 Left the hotel at 7:00 am and got a ticket for Heathrow at the Tube station and it took around 60 minutes to get to Heathrow terminal 2.
