Stop 7: Scenic Cruise... ALL ABOARD!!

Okay, For the last stop of our vacation Jordan had yet another surprise! Again, I was constantly asking questions to figure out what it could be and not getting much of anything. Well he was trying so hard to not spill the beans that he accidently did! I felt so bad and he was so mad at himself. So instead of being surprised I had a whole day of anticipation.

          September 5th – day 124

Very quiet day here. Laundry, pool,
reading, TV room, catching up on the blog, great Wi-Fi. An extra
night and well worth the money.

          September 6th – day 125

From Georgia we crossed the border into
Florida and drove to Jacksonville where we attempted to access the
beach but parking wasn't ideal. In the end we drove the scenic 1A1
          highway until we found ...

Stop 5: The Jail House... LOCK EM UP!!

This was such a fun place to see. Not only didn't you get to tour the jail, but you went to jail. Locked up and going through the day an inmate would have. We saw all the levels of security cells, the kitchen, the sheriffs home, and even the hanging deck.
Back then the sheriff and his family had a portion of the jail that was a house. Two stories, living room with a fire place, an office with the ...

Downtown St. Augustine is as always wonderful and dog friendly.

Learned a ton from the first trip. 1. Use tarps 2. Broom 3. Travel a ...

... US Navy Biologist.  Now, I was really nervous about letting Bob tag along...if you remember Bob is more affectionately known on this blog as the "chicken man".  Rewind two years ago in the Keys...every encounter with Chickens in Key West sent Bob scrambling for cover screaming like a 12 year old girl.  But since Bob is a good friend, I couldn't tell him no and he is a good guy to have around when there are "venomous" snakes to play with.  Plus Bob is ...
