I left Jacksonville bound for Houston and Buenos Aires by plane, and eventually to Parana, by bus. From wheels up in Jville to a warm embrace from Maxi (my Argentine exchange brother from high school) it was a total of 26 hours and over 5,000 miles. It was a long but smooth trip and it was worth every minute of it to catch up with him and his family Luli and Franco. (he's a 3 year old tazmanian devil but mostly human Maxi assures me) ...

... again and that meant we were finally going to reach Florida. We made our way down the 17 to the A1A on Amelia Island. Since our auxiliary battery was acting up and we knew it was pretty old we went to an O`Reilys auto parts to do a free battery check. They confirmed what we expected and the battery wasn’t charging anymore. We thought we could maybe get some juice out of it by charging it with a charger we bought from Wal-Mart but it just wouldn’t hold enough ...
