Drove 130 km from Toronto to Niagara - weather was very hot and sunny, in the thirties.

Checked in at Marriot Gateway on the Falls - upgraded to executive suite on the 14th floor with falls view. The suite was pretty fantastic - bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room, with views over the falls from most areas.

... like the tours only operate in the warmer months and everyrhing shuts down for winter. It has the be the only place in Canada that slows down because of the cold??!! The town is made up of 3 main roads. Niagra Falls Blvd which runs along the falls and then 2 others. One of these includes Clifton Hill. This short road contains endless opportunities to play amusement games, eat take out and do touristy things. At one point you think ...

    Gem of A Trip

    from

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview and Conference Center the weekend of August 22-24, 2003. The trip was a total success. I had requested some flowers and wine be waiting in our room for celebrating our anniversary. It was not only there waiting for us but I was most pleasantly suprised when the desk clerk said that we had recieved a free room upgrade! The Staff were beyond courteous and professional they were phenomanal. The view from our room was fantastic. So much so that I can say other than catching the morning news the TV never went on. Watching the fireworks was breathtaking. I cannot wait to go back and I refuse to stay in any other hotel.

Go for the 2-bedroom 2-bath suite!

    from

I went to the Sheraton Fallsview with my aunt, her grandchild and my friend in July 2003 and I agree with the reviews posted here: the view from the upper floors is absolutely stunning! We stayed in one of the 2-bedroom/2-bathroom suites facing the falls, and although the bedrooms were slightly cramped, the view (and the extra bathroom!) more than made up for it!

If you are travelling with 3 people and would like some comfort and privacy, you can't beat the view, the location and the price! Highly recommended.

    A gem

Beautiful room, view and everything was grand - especially the bed and the pillows!!! Because of a snafu with Hertz, we were a day late getting in. I called hotel and explained but they have 24 hour cancellation policy that is set in stone. Person at front desk said they would upgrade us to fallsview room to make up for having to pay for the previous night. That was appreciated. Handy to getting down to the falls and all the activity we were interested in. Staff very friendly and helpful and would stay there again - only would make sure we would get there on time!!

The Best Hotel at the Falls

    from

My fiance and I are leaving in two days for our fourth trip to the Falls in less than a year! We got engaged at NF last fall. Each time we go, we've stayed at the Sheraton Fallsview (not to be confused with the Sheraton on the Falls which is near the casino in the middle of everything). We LOVE this hotel and here are a few reasons why: they always let us check-in early if we arrive early; their service is top-notch and very friendly; the food in the fallsview dining room is fantastic (and I'm a picky eater!); the view of the falls, especially on the top floors is phenomenal; the rooms are spacious, bright, and clean and the beds (in the deluxe rooms) are so comfy you won't want to get out of them!; and I have found the Sheraton to be the most reasonably priced hotel in Niagara (and I have researched nearly all of the nicer ones). I would highly recommend going with the package that includes your breakfast each morning and dinner one evening. You'll eat in the Fallsview Dining Room, overlooking the falls. You can't beat the food and the view!! And if you have time, visit Niagara on the Lake, about 15 minutes north of the falls. We love it there - a quaint town full of wineries, antique shops, restaurants and home to the famous Shaw Festival.

    Loved Sheraton Fallsview

    from

What a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Fallsview. Arrived early to find a fabulous room already waiting for us. The most comfortable king size bed with featherbed pillows, a jaquzzi, and a beautiful deck overlooking the falls. It was spectacular to sit out there at night watching the illumination of the falls, the fireworks and just listening to the roar of the falls. The view was out of this world.

Breakfast & dinner buffets were more than adequate. Stanley's lounge was a nice place to end the day. Staff was completely courteous, accommodating and helpful in every way from check-in, to dining room to the concierge. If visiting Niagara Falls don't miss the opportunity to stay at the Sheraton Fallsview.

    Above and Beyond Our Expectations

    from

My wife and I stayed here last spring. We had never been to Niagara Falls before and really didn't know where to stay. We were so happy with our selection. We stopped in to check out some of the other hotels and were convinced more than ever that the Sheraton Fallsview was the best hotel around. The view from our room was spectacular. We took advantage of a special romantic dinner package from room service that made the trip even more memorable. The staff was friendly and helpful. All in all a terrific place and a great value.

    Breathtaking view!

    from

My elderly parents, my little son and I spent one night at this hotel in September 2002. I wanted us to stay at the most luxurios hotel in Niagara Falls and our expectations were indeed met at the Sheraton.

    Sheraton Fallsview - Exceptional experience

    from

We went to Niagara Falls in September. We researched online, all the accomodations available and decided on the Sheraton. Great choice! We made our reservations directly through the hotel. The clerks were very helpful and friendly. After several calls (every time I went to their website, I found a room I liked better) we took the "residence suite". It was beyond words. An entire glass wall overlooking the falls on the 16th floor. We had a separate living room with fireplace, kitchenette, full dining table, separate bedroom (the most comfortable bed) and a bathroom the size of most guest rooms. You can really work some great deals either online or by calling direct. Well worth the money - wouldn't consider staying anywhere else.

    Loved the Sheraton

    from

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton from Nov 10 through Nov 14 in a wonderful room on the 20th floor. We had an excellent view of the Falls. Staff was wonderful, room and hotel are very clean, and the food was delicious!! Great time to visit Niagara as there are fewer tourists and rates are lower. The weather was very nice. Highly recommend this hotel. If you belong to AAA there is no charge for parking on the hotel grounds.

    Excellent hotel

    from

    Overall a charming experience.

Good Points - The staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms delightful, the food wonderful and most of all the view was dazzling.

Bad Points - The lobby was crowded and not always with other guests, the lifts always busy they need more.

Note: If you're going to stay at this hotel you must take a fallsview room - hang the expense!
