The largest aircraft in the collection is the C-5A Galaxy (Tail #69-0014) that came to the museum October 2013 after being retired out of service with the Tennessee Air Nation Guard in Memphis. ... minute show on the Star, not sure I learned that in school or perhaps I was napping in that class :-) fascinating! We listened in on a tour talking about the first moon walk very interesting.

I will post a few pictures from our adventure to DC and also one of dinner, we went to a local crab and rib place oh my I've never had that much crab...it was delicious!

When I took off from Charleston on the C-17 there were already issues. The first plane was unable to go on the mission, so we tail swapped to another Jet causing a large delay that got me into Andrews AFB much, much later than I anticipated, around 8pm. Charleston had no planes going to Dover, so my plan was to fly into Andrews ...
