Bisher haben wir auch in Colorado noch nicht viel mehr als Rinder, Wildpferde und diverse Ranches gesehen. Unser Ziel sind aber die Sandduenen im Sueden und auf dem Weg dahin passieren wir ein paar 5000er Berge...Juhuuu...

I am paying the price today of the train ride to Denver---Islept maybe a total of 3 hours. Arrived in Denver at 7AM. Barely light out. Fortunately the hotel was just across the street from Union Station. I appeared on their doorstep luggage in tow, and they took pity on me and gave me a room. This is the oldest hotels in denver. just great, it is most convenient to everything. I walked around for a while. Then took an afternoon Grayline tour of city. Pretty interesting ...

We are home a day late thanks to an all expense paid day in London compliments of British Air.
We ended up getting out of Rome late due to a baggage problem. So we arrived into London only to miss our connection.

It is so good to be home. We had a wonderful trip but there is nothing like you own bed.

Vi packade ihop våra viktigaste ägodelar i 23 flyttkartonger. Det var precis vad som rymdes i vagnen bakom de två starka hästar som skulle dra oss västerut, till Denver, Colorado, USA. Vi planerade en resa på två år, hela familjen, Ola, Elin, Märta, Sigge & Rut, och lämnade Saltsjöbaden och Sverige, familj och vänner med blandade känslor en dag när sommaren gick över till att bli höst.
