I hate losing things. But this is especially demoralizing because I lost one of my handy travel thermoses during my trip to San Francisco last month. I had just bought a replacement a couple weeks ago and this was its first trip. I lost it before I even got on the first plane. I just can’t fathom this happening to me twice in a row. ... I have become good friends with. I never would have suspected who I bonded with, but that makes the relationship even more fun. It took about a month for everyone in my suite to get to know each other to the point where we were truly being ourselves. No more tip toeing around and being polite, just lots of spot on honesty. Which is so refreshing.

James' school had their Staff Christmas Show combined with farewell at one of the teachers' house. Had a good night eating and drinking too much.
