... on this trip before. People who are used to being independent suddenly finding themselves in a position where someone in their neighbourhood could make a significant improvement to their day to day life. And despite being in another city, very far away from home, I already feel welcome. Did I mention Dana also made me a homemade dinner package with ...
... in the back seat and did a pretty good job of muddying it up. Needless to say that got me and my cooler off the hook. Well, we cleaned the mess up, put a plastic garbage bag on the seat, Marty found a decent plug for the cooler and we got underway about 11:00am. We took pictures in the town square gazebo. Beautiful flowers and hanging baskets. Very pretty town. Our next stop was in Chargrin, a neighboring town to ...
We had a good nite at the KOA. Traffic racket must have made us sleep better. Got up to blue sky and sun rising. The blankets weren't wet this morning and that was a relief. Stopped for our usual McDonald's and filled the tank. Car got 37.2 mpg on this tank. Our blue steed is doing okay. Carol drove into the sun again but the sun didn't last all day. Hit clouds somewhere around Columbus and stayed in it the rest of the ...

There were cigarette burns as well as water marks all over the common area carpets as well as the guest rooms. The parking structure is extremely old, unsafe, unsecured, and is fallen apart, plus it is extremely hard to manuever through.

Clean & nice room. In the heart of a very empty downtown. Across a very pathetic empty mall in which the only vendors were a few eateries in the food court + an Ann Taylor! Do not go to the hotel's restaurant (forgot the name but there's only 1). Bad service and worst Caesar Salad I've ever had. Next to Lake Erie though.
For the price, it was perfect. Close to the Convention Center and the warehouse district! Could walk anywhere. Staff was pleasant, the gentleman helping me with check-in was wonderful. There was an issue with parking but they resolved it promply. The rooms were clean and room service was prompt... would stay again.
Great nfl weekend
Easy check in on Saturday. I was in town to watch the Browns-Eagles game and the location could not have been better both for the game and the nightlife. The room was tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was very pleasant and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again. I can't wait to "go back to Cleveland!"
I am a part of the Sheraton Rewards program and assumed that just like most Sheratons I stay at for work or for vacations, I would get at least a pretty good room and a decent deal.
Unprofessional staf; varying quality rooms
Being a Starwood Platinum member, I requested a corner room, facing the lake on a higher floor. Instead I was offered an alongated room, that looked horrible. This was the third time I stayed at the hotel, and I knew that some rooms are nicer. I requested another room at the reception, and as I was being served, the phone rang, so that front desk person started answering the phones while I waited. In the end I was offered a suite, however, no help for my suitcases, or any assitance with the directions. Stay away, better deals and superior service at Ritz Carlton and Rennaisance can be found.
Gotta great rate through hotwire for only $42.00. The room was regulary about $139.00. The room itself was very nice.Very spacious with 2 huge beds that were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Super clean, tons of cable channels, and a large bathroom.Check in was a breeze and all hotel personnel were very courteous. The location is right smack downtown close to everything and parking is only 15 bucks a day. The hotel room service was super high though with just average quality. They mixed up 2 breakfast orders and it tasted averaged at best. The bill would,ve come to $37.00 but because of the mix up they only charged us for only 1 order. I was in Cleveland for just 1 day to see the Rock and Roll Hall of fame which is a must visit. I highly recommend this hotel but not at the regular $139.00. Get it through Hotwire. Want a secret! If you go to the Hall of Fame on Wed., Its only 5 bucks after 6pm compared to 20 bucks beforehand.
We stayed at the Sheraton Cleveland City Centre over the Fourth of July weekend. What a great time! I had read several reviews of this hotel and some were less than favorable. I should know by now that I shouldn't rely on bad reviews from websites. I should wait to form my own opinion.
My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton downtown for a "romantic weekend away from the kids". It was so nice! I had booked online and got a GREAT RATE!!! From the first time I spoke to the hotel until the time we left they were very professional and courteous....(not something you always find here in cleveland.)
Upon check-in I asked for a high floor with a view of Lake Erie--they said room wasn't ready yet, but they blocked it for me. When I returned and was given my room I was a little disappointed with the view--some buildings were partially blocking view (although the room itself was fine). I returned to front desk and they kindly gave me a room with a better view (a club level room with updated furniture--very nice). Room was a little larger than most hotel rooms, was nicely decorated, and had a very comfortable bed (pillow-top, very thick down comforter, both feather and synthetic pillows), and had a leather-like chair and ottoman. Room service was good and reasonably priced. Location is good--it's downtown, but is a few blocks away from the area where creepy people wander about at night and weekends. It's also an easy walk to the recommended Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Secret Service people were in hotel getting ready for a fund raising event in a few days for President Bush reelection. I guess if it's good enough for the President, it should be good for most of us peons too.
it was a nice place. i had a view of lake erie, the housekeeping staff spoke english
