    ... months. The beach is only a few blocks away and man did I misbehave in the Barnes & Noble earlier this week.

    I also hope to have at least a few blog updates up and running before I leave the States and now that my phone has been restored to full function, I hope to be able to keep it up until the end. All depends on that wifi connection though, so bear with me...

    ... course by this stage had expanded to 6 suitcases! The walk was lovely and gave us an opportunity to see the wide, clean and gorgeous streets of inner city San Diego. What struck us immediately was how quiet things seemed...even as we had to cross the rode because of the 'private footpath' for residents only along a strip of one of the streets...how exclusive!

    We checked into the Embassy Suites and immediately felt welcomed ...

    ... on the menu to suit Mal! There was also a display of snacks on offer, all gf, and more choices for drinks than just 'soda'! Ironically though, all our healthy sandwiches came with potato chips - it's like they just can't believe that you could want a meal without fries or 'crisps' of some sort.

    ... in the medieval land again, and it takes a lot of persuasion to get the kids to come on the Dragon rollercoaster with us, as the entrance is a little dark. We eventually manage to get them to come – and of course, they really enjoyed it (no photos unfortunately, but the ride starts off in a castle, then heads outdoors).
