I've been wanting to visit the European Christmas Markets for several years now, but my husband was reluctant - he's not a fan of the cold! But this year he relented. I'm approaching one of those "milestone" birthdays, and frankly, I would rather travel than have a party, so this year we are going!

We got brochures in the mail from a number of different companies featuring Christmas Time Cruises. I also ...
Ocean City, New Jersey, United States gus_me... Italian restaurant a la Trump, we strolled along the boardwalk then went back to our room overlooking the ocean. Although we drove only 220 miles today, we travelled for 9 hours, and were tired. So, not finding anything exciting that appealed to us, we went to bed and got a good night’s sleep. That turned out to be one of our better decisions. Are we getting old? Or what? Read on!!
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States concerto33... I made sure my wallet was still in my pocket ) lol. The Chestnut Lake park is just so-so. In our opinion this park is a place to stay for sightseeing and sleeping. The grass is not mowed, the bugs are horrible and the Rv sites are close. There is not even a pickleball court.

On Wednesday we all piled in to John's truck and headed for Philly on a sightseeing trip. As Cathy and I were parking the truck the ...
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States rvdude... br>We headed into Trump Plaza and visited the casino - then headed out onto the boardwalk in the misting rain - into a wild west casino and then back to the boardwalk, bought some salt water taffy and a chocolate/peanut butter pretzel!! Then we had massages and at 12:30 headed back to Philly. Got home around 2:30!!
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States jrriley8... me and he flipped out! So now he came to me all nice and didnt say sorry! He just epected that i would be ok with it! But no! Not when you work hard for something then pay for it yourself then someone rips it into millions of pieces? Thats ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm mad, but i follow what god says and forgave him even though he didnt say sorry. I cant belivie this! Hopefully this will pass and the summer will be uphill from here. Gosh!
Ocean City, New Jersey, United States summergirl109... of its screw up we got to spend more time in the scenic Jersey by the Delaware yeah right. We get to pay again to leave Jersey. Any way the pictures tell the story. The cool thing was we crossed many states in a small distance. We touched Philly, Delaware and Maryland before we got to beautiful Virginia. It definitely gets my vote for the most beautiful state East of the Mississippi. I-81 south on the way to Black Mountain ranks as the most scenic interstate.

Kingsalt.
Galloway, New Jersey, United States kingsalt... next morning and see some more of Atlantic City and boarkwalk but the weather didn't permit. It feels as though the rain is following us around. The Shady Pines park was a sleepover as we could not handle yet another night without showers. It was disappointing because the sewer connection was backed up and yes it was messy!

Damaris with Intro and coda by Kingsalt
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States kingsalt... above the casino roof tops and Clark became nervous as he thought they would definitely make him their target. Dodging them as best he could he walked from table umbrella to store to whatever he could find cover under. The kids and Clark walked for some time as there was plenty to do and hundreds of people and families milling about. They had music pumped onto the boardwalk and it was lined with arcades, rides, shops ...
Atlantic City, New Jersey, United States eightydaze... there, I'm golden. I'm doing the ferry from May's landing to some other place and then a series of bridges and tunnels that hop out into the ocean along a bunch of islands. Yes, I'm taking the scenic tour. Unfortunately, this means I won't be passing through D.C. to check out Lee's potential new apartment and possibly lazy but maybe not engineer/management student/bum future roommates. Go for the new people Lee, just leave an escape hatch ...
