... located along North Africa's coastline, is Southern Morroco's most visited city. Its culture and historical ties lie predominantly with its relationship with European nations. Internationally coined as th Miami of Morroco, Agadir made its mark as a significant port with the exportation of gold, spices, dyes, olive oil, Argan oil, and minerals. Taroudant is surrounded by ancient fortress walls that protected it from Portuguese invaders. Taroudant had its golden ...

... Saturday night. The next day we relaxed around Agadir, checking out the free bird valley park before another quiet night. On the Monday we decided to jump on a local bus up to the popular little surf town of Taghazout. Unfortunately the waves were nowhere to be found today but a dip in the Atlantic and some good lunch at a local restaurant meant the day was not a waste. An uneventful but relaxing couple of days in ...

... take 5 minutes in NZ just about took all day. As we waited we wondered around the Souk and Gayle brought a very smart red and black leather coat, a total impulse buy but she is very pleased with it.

The other exciting thing for us is that our sons have brought a house together in New Zealand, they took possession on 15 January (Thomas's birthday) and have sorted out tenants already. So we are very proud of them. ...

          ... and veg to vehicles!

After wondering the maze of stalls we got on the coach to paradise valley, a beautiful valley in the middle of nowhere which took 30 minutes to walk to after an hours drive! It was seriously warm today so glad to cool off in the fresh water lakes.

Also meant I had to face and conquer my fear of fish - well the feel of ...

It was very quiet, most of the day I had the place to myself; nice music playing and a pool to cool down in not 3 metres away, I made good use of it!

Later then I stopped for a juice and ended up getting moroccan style tapas with my food, no charge. Plates loaded with spicy rice, a sort of hot bean mix, salads, and olives of course too! You cant go wrong with the food here!

The plan for tomorrow... more of the same!
