... different from what I imagined from my small town experience of living in Rio Grande do Sul. Porto Alegre is really diverse in people and they have a really cool culture. When I was walking around the city on Sunday, there were so many people out and about, driving mate, practicing capoeira and generally just enjoying the nice day.
