... to stay home for some days. Staying at home would just have been boring, so I went to work and stayed on Facebook all day and read newspapers and other stuff. Friday was pretty bad too and I wanted to go home early, but the director finally had some time to talk to me so I stayed put. After waiting for three hours and time getting close to four pm I just left the office after telling his personal assistant that we could do it next week. The rest of the evening, I ...

The first weekend at the new place

... and If I started to explain them what it is all about, I do not think they would even try to understand. Hence, I keep my opinions to myself. In addition to this, the restaurant is closed on Sundays so I had to find a place to have breakfast. After walking forever, I found a Chinese place that was really expensive, but I needed food so I took it. It was like eating fat with a spoon. I ate the small pieces of meat and the soup and told them I was not a big fan of fat. I ...

Day two and three in Abuja

A travel blog entry by oyvindsandve on Mar 28, 2008

... which was a b***h yesterday. After changing I went down to pay. She counted the money. I fell short, there was 164 000 and not 175 000. I told here that I withdrew to little cash and said I had more money in the room. I went up and got the rest of the money I had. In total I had 173 500, 1500 short. And she refused me to pay. I could just feel my head boil over. 1500 naira is about 20 US dollars, and is not much, but I'm sure she only did it ...
