Another feast for breakfast, overlooking the harbour. 2 sea eagles flew past our bedroom window, then a sailing regatta, yachts with spinnakers up. Went to the market for ladies in Kowloon, getting the hang of Chinese public transport. Nothing to buy there, just fake bags and Tshirts, but did try octopus balls, street food, very tasty. ...
... Guilin countryside. Viewing everyday life as we passed through numerous town, and villages made the two hour ride somewhat bearable. Airport checking was a breeze. ... I like to try different dishes BUT...
A few streets away but a culinary lifetime away.. I settle for a (bland..to them!) bbq chicken rice with bokchoy.. delicious.. only $H.K.45... as I eat with my chopsticks, feeling ever so "clever" the local lad on the next table is using a knife & fork!!
I retreat to my hotel with many memories of a fantastic day.. onder what i can get up to tomorrow ??
