... you sat one appeared apparently waiting for you to do something awful. In fact Dick did and sat on a step- a complete no- no. It was a garden with very few seats, a real disadvantage. However it was beautiful and a worth the visit. Back onto the metro to Wong Tai Sin to visit another temple. (Wong Tai Sin Temple) This had the most amazing statues. It is a Taoist temple. The statues were somewhat threatening and lined up as you entered- beware! This temple is famous for the fortune ...

... in my iphone in time to get some pics of the family. The fireworks were brilliant really made the trip worthwhile. Decided since it was new years I would tough it out and meet John and Marian for a few drinks to celebrate.  For our last day in Hong Kong we just took a wander around and tasted some more of the local cuisine and of course made sure to find an Irish pub showing the six nations game so we could spend our last night enjoying the Irish kick some Scottish ...

... built in Hong Kong .. 9 retail floors of class . Hysan Place has 17 floors of " all things stylish". All the surrounding streets are busy with smaller shops, restaurants.. All servicing the thousands walking to and fro....
many western style coffee shops provide a place to rest & recharge ..

Wonder what tomorrow will bring.. A promise of sunshine and a temperature of 20...bring it on Hong Kong..

... We took a ride to view the floating houses - some are very luxurious and the rest are an eye-opener! Some of them even have internet and A/c! Harry couldnt believe people lived there permanently!

We then had the mandatory stop at a diamond factory where they give u a rest stop but really want u to buy lots. It worked for most of the other travelers....

Our next stop was the Stanley Markets. Very kitch asian shopping but Chloe ...

... and take look a at he menu. Yep! It's got all the western trappings. Boiled chicken feet, steamed pigs guts and a host of other creepy looking dishes. We spot a restaurant across the parking lot and decide, let's do it. Walking into the restaurant is like walking into time zone.
