... with a good smattering of Mandarin in there too. Not so much spoken English, but at least I can read! Chinese traditional characters are only about 60% intelligible to me (of the ones that I might have known in they were simplified).

My battery's almost dead and I don't have a British-English converter at the moment, so I better head off to breakfast. There's free breakfast in the hostel which is great - time to see exactly what that consists of!

... the harbor to Conduit Road in the Mid-levels. It is 800 meters long. We personally found out that the escalator was a pretty convenient way to see the bustling city hillside which contains various restaurants and shops. We had read that travelling the entire length takes about 20 minutes. The escalator runs one-way downhill from 6.00 until 10.00 and then uphill from 10.00 until midnight. ... wifi and Skype but the Mall was so busy and so many people trying to log on the connection was rubbish so it wouldn't work.
