Nong Ping Hill Cable Car Ride & Giant Buddha
Day 3 at HK:
Re-traced our steps from the previous day (North Point - Central - Tung Chung Line). We went past the Sunny Bay station to Tung Chung.
We purchased tickets to the Cable Car Ride (with a return trip tix on the bus). This ride was fantastic. Vistas of Nong Ping Hill (360 degree they call it) and Airport. At the end of the ride, we go over a hill and saw the Giant Buddha and the Nong Ping Monastery from the top. Lovely view.

1st Big Day Over
Ok, still awake from 7:30amSaturday (Melb)and it's now 9:30pm (HK), but what a day. The flights were interesting, the lady from Melb to Singapore was snoring that badly i thought it might of been a bloke! Australische vriendelijkheid wordt vaak geroemd. Uiteraard zijn we een paar mensen tegengekomen, die op die dag met het verkeerde been uit bed zijn gestapt, maar dat is met 10 tot 20 procent de uitzondering. In meerderheid is de Australier vriendelijk, probeert normaal Engels te praten, maakt snel grappen, heeft iedere dag een goeie bui, etc. Heel veel voorbeelden!!
