So I'm back on the airport express, leaving HK for my flight to Singapore, then Koh Samui. I forgot to write last night but here's a quick recap: I went on my own and walked up Ladder St., where there was an alley that I bought a small Buddha and bracelet from. The streets are packed with young and old bustling around. The restaurants are also full even at ten o'clock at night. The market scene was equally full, each vendor with their stalls packed with their wares. Overall, the only one happy with the shopping was Lili. She found cute bunny mittens, a couple of gifts for her ...

... and went for a short orientation walk. Our hotel was conveniently situated in the main area of the town square and markets to explore. After the walk, we went for a final group dinner to enjoy our final hours together as some tour mates were leaving that night. It was very amusing to see the majority of the group order Western food after being on a daily diet of rice, noodles, dumplings and szechuan dishes. One tour mate, Enrico even ordered a foot-long chili dog! It was definitely ...
