... they seemed to like doing the latter a lot. We met up with Arielle and Andrew later in the day to take the Tram to the top of Victoria Peak. That's the highest place in HK and overlooks the entire city. The problem was that the line to get on the tram was 3 hours long. So we decided to try again in the morning. ... from our room on 11 th floor and at night all around the bay the tall buildings were lit up and saw many boats. With coloured lights going up and down - at 8pm there is a symphony of lights - the show combines interactive lights of 45 key buildings over Victoria Harbour - did not see this as at dinner. ... the streets. It was a shopaholics dream and there were lots of bargains to be had. Bags, jewellery, sunglasses, iphone/ipod accessories, t-shirts etc. We spent the entire afternoon here until 5.30pm. Dinner was at a little Italian restaurant around the corner - a little gem of a find. Tasty pizzas, salads and calamari. It's nice to be able to walk to and from the restaurant too.
