... headed back to the bus to ferry and then the ferry back to kowloon and got all pretties up, Emily our travel consultant had booked us into a huge buffet dinner at one of the fancy smancy hotels and fancy it was.everything and anything you wanted was there at your disposal. ... when Caroline went to the salon to get her hair done, we gave the kids a map of Victoria Park along with the entry codes to our building, and let them go play there on their own. ... guided walk around 'old Hong Kong Island'. Getting to the start was interesting enough on one of the worlds last remaining double decker trams, the ceiling was quite low on the upper deck that Charlie developed a slight hunchback. The walk was really interesting seeing a famous temple (where ash from the incense landed on Charlie and burnt him) we saw the cool 'east end style' part of the city with its cafes and artistic graffiti. ... is really nice. Nicer than any hotel I’ve stayed at in America! I got to my room around 11:30 p.m. local time on February 27th, after leaving my house at 5:30 a.m. on the 26th.

It’s currently 5 a.m. on Feb 28th. I’m awake writing this because I can’t fall back to sleep. Hopefully my transition to China time and jet lag won’t be too bad.
