    Will flew back to the UK today for Mrs Wood's funeral (he sadly lost Mrs Woods (his "third" grandmother) and Gloria, his friend Aidan's mother over Easter weekend).

    It was a gorgeous day. I have been in Nanjing at the beginning of the week supporting an English teacher in Jinling, and then went to Hangzhou on Thursday to support an English teacher in Hangzhou No 14, Stephen Gardner's centre.

    ... Friday (which I was unable to attend). Lochie also received one last week but I didn't know about it and didn’t go to assembly. The children earn points through the day and when they collect large amounts (eg 50, 100 etc) they are acknowledged. I like that they have to 'earn’ their award and are not just given one randomly.

    Friday was the last day of term 2. The school now has 2 weeks of ‘spring break’.
