We woke up this morning and decided to take it pretty leisurely as our train left at 2pm and we had done pretty much all we wanted to do in Chicago (plus we had our massive bags which we didn't want to lug around too much!) We called families back home as it was a more respectable time than when we normally have a spare few minutes (our evening which is midnight onwards for you guys!). I guess this day kinda overlaps with the last entry but oh well. We took off at 3am, stopped at 5am and realized how uncomfortable we were hahaha luckily the gas station had a photo op so we let off some steam there. Then we slept to the next stop- Burger King breakfast. Oh it was so good. Then we slept some more until 10:30, then broke out Maureen's license plate game. ...

Tomorrow we will be heading to Grand Island, NE to visit with Dave (one of Pat's brothers) and his wife Linda for a few days. For those curious minds who want to know and who keep asking about our final destination -- other than getting home to Mt. Juliet safe and sound, the road trip will find us at the wedding of a great niece on September 6 in Grand Forks, ND. See you after that!
