... Exeter to Barcelona for 32, yes 32 - incredible but it does take over 30 hours :-( still good to know though. We are thinking, Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Ronda, Granada - Andalucia because of all the typical white spanish houses !! easily pleased lol - nothing to do with the tapas :-). Would like to visit the Jerez region and sample a few sherry's and maybe Rioja for the red wine - any ideas/advice gladly received. 10 weeks to go wayhay x

Then we moved onto Plymouth which is a large port town with a lot of history from the Spanish Armada and the Mayflower. After visiting the famous lighthouse seen in the pictures we had a great ...

... surprises literally around every bend.
We discovered the ancient remains of the Roman city wall, churches, and beautfully restored buidings, a charming Devon village.
We fully realised we were on our holiday when we walked down to the quay and enjoyed a Cornish lager and local cider, chilling out watching the white swans on the River Exe.
We topped of our day with a lovely supper of local produce at Bill's.
