Day 29 - Pismo Beach - California
... and cast a line from, which is quite lovely to see. Pismo Beach also attracts quite a few surfers, but in the time we were there there was hardly a wave in sight, it's really very flat. In fact the waves have been quite flat on all the beaches we've seen so far, which was very surprising. ... of great camping trips, The US of A certainly has the best State and National Parks. We even had a great trip to The Los Angeles area visiting Dave and Loretta in Corona. They showed us around the area and we went to Del Mar racing for a day.
We also stayed with Mike and Stacey in San Dimas, that is a really beautiful area of LA and they are great fun.

Leeward our new home (for now)
... Extended Cab small V8 Pick-Up, with a Coffin Lid. We found Jerry just a little too small. So now we have 2 cars till we sell Jerry (If we do). We now have a motor Bike in Guatemala and 2 cars in California.
Anyway back to the house. It needs some work and we will be doing what we can in that regard and hopefully save Kathy and Brad ...
Camping Trip
... in his Porche a day before the others so we could try and get a good site. Was a good three and a half hour journey and once we cleared the coast and mountains you head over to Fresno through quite dry and hot conditions. Jerry's temperature gauge climbed a little high at times so we were watching that but we arrived alright and set up the tents and went and had Pizza up the road for dinner.

Reunion with Skye !!!

Carrick was thrilled to pull in the Mahi Mahi on the last night, just as dusk was setting in, which meant filleting in the dark, but Ian did a good job with that and it all worked out well, Ian and I had some on Wednesday night and it was very tasty, he will certainly have lots to eat over time.
Livingston was a quaint town, everyone extremely friendly and they made us feel totally welcome.
