I was recently invited to join a ship inspection of the Oceania "RIVIERA" while in port in Miami. And let me tell you I was impressed!

Built in 2012 the Riviera is a beautiful, elegant and sophisticated ship. I heard the term understated luxury quite a few times.
The mid-sized Riviera (1250 passengers) offers 10 dining venues including Privee (an ultimate venue, which you can reserve for exclusive parties of as many as ...

... the mangrove trails, into the lake, and back through the mangroves. There is nothing like getting up close and personal with nature to not only experience it, but to appreciate what is out there to see.

We went back to Primanti Brothers for pizza for lunch. If you are ever in Fort Lauderdale, go to Ft. Lauderdale Blvd (A1A) and 9th Ave and have some of their pizza. The crust is thin, yet crunchy; they don't skimp on the pepperoni or sausage, and it is the ...

Imagine paying for it at the West End or Broadway. And yet the theatre was never close to half full for any ...

... the incredible broadway style shows performed in the massive theatre. The shows were incredible but we were not allowed to take pics :(

I could go on and on about the ship and the experience of on board life but I think the pictures will speak for themselves.

This is my second most favored type of travel - cruise ship to beautiful beach ports - it is second only to an amazing backpacking adventure,,,

      Enjoy everyone...
