Today was a travel day - but not entirely. My flight was not until 4 p.m. so I had the morning to do something fun. Nothing says fun than riding an ATV on a mountain! Today I got to ride the chair lift up to Calafate Mountain Park - there was zero wind today - just beautiful blue sky and a warm temperature of 20 degrees Celsius. Go figure, I was overdressed for the day. Not to worry, it was a little cooler on top of the mountain. Once again, I was the only one on ...
... and then we were off! We booked a bus ticket to el Calafate that left at 8am. We thought it would be a couple hours, as the 2 towns really aren't too far apart. ... the entire structure shifts forwards. See I actually learnt something on this holiday. El Calafate historical interpretation centre. Quite small. Thankfully had a book translating all their exhibits into English. Lots about dinosaurs, land formation, continental drift and evolution. Learnt more but I won't inflict that on you. Laguna Nimez reserve. Conveniently located 2 mins from my hotel. Backs onto largo Argentina which has a glacial supply from memory. This makes ...
