We done a lot since the last time I posted..... Went from Wpg to Beausejour to visit with Jimmy and Helen. Caught up on the news, breakfasted at the Golf Course, went swimming in the great outdoor public pool, and most of all enjoyed good friends. Then we were off to Hillside Beach to join Leah, Jared, Lilly and Ethan at the marvelous cottage they rented. It had the most beautiful porch and a fabulous ...

... we could have stayed another day to visit with them a bit more. Left on Friday morning, driving in a window of good weather to get home before it rained. Found a great gas station (how exciting, eh?) for a stress- free fill-up on I-80. It's the little things.... Did some planning for a trip to FL over the winter months. Good experience all in all. In the afternoon, as the sky was getting darker, we hit the ...

... Cabanaconde, a couple of
hours further. These are Reyna,
Andalucia and Milagro. Andalucia had a
bus leaving at 1pm so we settled in for a few hours at the station. You can also get an agency to book you on a
tourist bus leaving from the main square but these are 3 times the price. Cabanaconde is the place where all treks into
the canyon start from and you don't need a guide. The hostel that we had emailed, Pachamama
promised to check our ...
