... to Cabanaconde we moved to our new hostel and were able to check in right away. This was awesome because I was seriously feeling feverish and knew I just needed to lie down and have a sleep. We both ended up napping for almost 3 hours! I probably could have slept more. We found some lunch, I took some more Tylenol to kick the fever and then we headed for the canyon; if we couldn't hike it (I definitely couldn't now!) then we would at least enjoy the view from the top! Caught up on the news, breakfasted at the Golf Course, went swimming in the great outdoor public pool, and most of all enjoyed good friends. Then we were off to Hillside Beach to join Leah, Jared, Lilly and Ethan at the marvelous cottage they rented. It had the most beautiful porch and a fabulous ...

He was was a redhead, probably about 40 years old, ...

We were going to visit the Indiana Dunes State Park, just east of Gary, Indiana, but, because of the rain, bypassed the Chicago metropolitan area as much as possible.

... Cabanaconde, a couple of
hours further. These are Reyna,
Andalucia and Milagro. Andalucia had a
bus leaving at 1pm so we settled in for a few hours at the station. You can also get an agency to book you on a
tourist bus leaving from the main square but these are 3 times the price. Cabanaconde is the place where all treks into
the canyon start from and you don't need a guide. The hostel that we had emailed, Pachamama
promised to check our ...
