Teden se je zacel super, za zajtrk sem si naredila palacinke! :)
Prejsnji teden mi je Tom posredoval mail od Ezre, prijatelja s katerim smo igrali minigolf. Zanimalo ga je ce bi bila pripravljena prostovoljno oblikovat brosuro za podjetje za katerega dela. Ker imajo poslovne prostore ulico stran od moje sole in ker je delo prostovoljno (torej brez vecjega pritiska) sem predlog sprejela in se zmenla ...
... We got started on learning names of our fellow companions and kept an eye on the Oregon-USC football game.
After seeing that Oregon had won the game, we boarded the plane and were away from the gate by 2035. Wheels left the runway at 2055 and we were underway! Dinner was served at 2235. ... In totaal hebben we een kleine 20 km gewandeld.
In Golden Gate Park wilden we de Amerikaanse bizons nog eens van dichtbij zien. Ze zijn in dat park in 1886 terechtgekomen toen er nog maar een paar honderd overleefden van de 50 tot 60 miljoen die er ooit over de Great Planes rondliepen. Kweekprogramma's daar en elders hebben hun aantal terug op 200 000 gekregen. Op de bloemen in het park konden we kolobri's fotograferen, spechten ...

A Princess cruise ship passed directly beneath me - it was funny to see all the people on the bridge taking pictures of people on the ship photographing people on the bridge!

... walk back. Our pans went out the window because as we were heading towards the bridge, the fog started to roll in and as promised, the temperature dropped by 10-15C!! Why did we drop our shopping off before the tour? It was blowing a gale and the bridge literally disappeared in front of our eyes!
