We headed over to the USS Pampanito, a restored WW2 submarine moored on pier 45. Dropping down into the belly of the ship it's hard to beleive that 80 men were crammed into the ship and hard to imagine what it was like deep down under attack from above.

On the Sunday morning, it was sad to say good bye to Rob after breakfast but Tom and I were very pleased he still had a good time (even if we did introduce him to the backpacker way to life at times he he) lets say we had some interesting nights in our hostels together! San Francisco is a hub of activity with a lot going on. So much so that we've planned our 13 days so we get the most out of our trip and don't miss anything.
Sunday 6th, arrive in S.F at 8:30 pm local time. (4:30 am U.K)
Mon 7th - Mall day shopping
8th - Golden Gate Botanical Gardens
9th - World cup semi-final at Civic Centre Plaza
10th - Free Golden gate walking tour
11th - San Fran Giants Baseball game

It was apparent that deer don’t give a **** what road you are on. They’ll cross it and demand right of way every time. Considering the size of our Fiat, we thought it best to allow them to cross the double lines this time.
... They would be in their 80s toady if they are still alive (and their is a million dollar bounty on each of their heads), living at large somewhere in the world. Interesting how these infamous prisoners (Al "Scarface" Capone, Machine Gun Kelly, and the like) now have books and souvenirs with their faces and stories on them. We live in a strange culture.
