In Golden Gate Park wilden we de Amerikaanse bizons nog eens van dichtbij zien. Ze zijn in dat park in 1886 terechtgekomen toen er nog maar een paar honderd overleefden van de 50 tot 60 miljoen die er ooit over de Great Planes rondliepen.
