... bereits Mitte September fertig.

... out" sign and construction detour to the highway. Not too excited about the prospect of riding on the highway with very narrow shoulders and fast moving vehicles, we retraced our route back to St. Peters and continued our ride east along a tree-lined path.

Hungry after the ride we drover out to PEI National Park on the seashore and walked a trail to the bay. As we sat and had our lunch we watched as "mussel men" work their lines ...

Lieblingsreiseziel.

Fahrt nach Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.)

... offen. Schade!

Day 19 - Charlottown, PEI to Halifax, NS

... some great pictures ! We took the scenic route to get to Nova Scotia along the coast and then cut across the countryside. We did have a certain "pickle" incident which we had to stop for beside a large corn field. As we were driving along I could slightly smell dill and vinegar which steadily grew stronger ! After pulling over we discovered the lid from the pickles had come loose and the whole jar had fallen over and dripped through everything ! Upon opening the ...

My Momma Would Love Me!

... We went out for a pint that night and I tasted the first only fish and chips from kill off her plate. Many bands were to play but I was exhausted so I called it a night and slept sweet dreams after a good reading binge. I was feeling pretty peculiar the next morning and decided beer was to be consumed in afternoon fashion. I picked up an 8 pack and discovered again my homeless pal. This time I ...

... yards of starting out. Not much in Charlottetown obviously... On the way round we saw the Governor of PEI's house - looked like the house on Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Fair play to her... We also saw one of the four buses on Prince Edward Island. No really. There's four. They look like trams too which makes for an interesting commute I reckon. After the tour I went and had a rece at the shops but got distracted on the way to the mall by an Abercrombie ...

I found this shop called How Bazaar! that sells imported knick knacks from Australia, Asia, and Africa. This is the store where Mike and I purchased our diggiloos. We have plans to become the first brother and sister diggiloo duet of Asian decent. After emptying our wallet at ...

... like gingerbread houses, and it's still small enough that even in peak tourist season (i.e. when we went in August), it's still not super-crowded and is actually able to retain its very quaint feel. I'm looking in your direction, San Francisco: Pier 39 is no longer 'cute' or 'quaint' or even 'kitschy.' It's just a crowded, overpriced tourist trap.

PEI is also a generally interesting place. They have red mud and a store where everything has cows on it.
