... the falls and then climbed up to get some from the top. We finished up our hike through the Upper Canyon above the main falls and then headed back to the car. It was past lunch time and we only had a few more hours of daylight left, so we wanted to make it count. So we headed to George W. Childs Park, once a Pennsylvania State Park, but now a recreation area in the water gap. We parked here and had a picnic lunch, then headed out for a ...

In this pic, Vivi had shed her coat, but Payson had only just put his on; they worked up quite a sweat rolling up all the snow in the whole backyard. But it kept falling after they went to bed, enough that we had a pretty white lawn in the morning. ...

... we saw some wonderful sights and I enjoyed learning more about Brazil's history. The games were, of course, incredible and the fan excitement and enthusiasm is truly catching. But the best part for me was the time I got to spend with 3 of my children as young adults. They were fun, they were good sports, we all got along and I felt like the luckiest person in the world to have this experience with them. Thanks kids...... Now, who's up for Russia in 2018??
