After a brief time, we continued on our way to the main area. This is where the professionals were working. I was kind of disappointed since they all were still sculpting. After lunch we drove down the beach a bit. This weekend is SANDFEST and we wanted to see what we could, which was nothing! We will be going back tomorrow along with the couple of thousand others who will probably be here. Bob will not be thrilled, but if he doesn't want to go he doesn't have to, we'll see.

... different birds and animals that we did not see in spi. one for example is the nutia,( large rats ) and avocets, green winged teal, shovelers. there were two birding places that we went to. the second on the -pond had summer tanagers, scarlet tanagers, painted buntings, indigo buntings, hooded warblers,rose breasted grossbeks and orioles, all those colorful beautiful birds were eye candy for us. and both places were not work to see them, didn't have to hike, didn't ...
