    Totally 25 members were participated on this event from various nationality. The meeting went very well with everyone's self introduction. We had this meeting for 45 mins and moved on for dinner.

    When Howard came back we went out for lunch at the university cafeteria and headed over to the musem. Howard had invited his friend who has a new baby to the museum.     On Friday night I caught the overnight train to Taiyuan. The city bus stops running at 9 p.m., so I went downtown at 9:30 and bought a bean salad and some beer at the night market nearby. I tried to just enjoy the scene and immerse myself in the sights, sounds and smells, but it wasn't happening.

    I got my audiobook out and spaced out until it was time to go. Birdsong was on there, depressing stuff.

    It was an old mud and brick village called Dayu. There were still some houses occupied but a lot were empty and in ruins. We found out later that as the elders died and the young people moved away, the town was slowly dying. No different to little places elsewhere, I suppose.

    Just like that our time in Taiyuan is coming to an end. Wednesday morning we jet off to Hong Kong to Celebrate the Chinese New Year! (Year of the Goat--My Birth Year!)
