... place. However they didn't prove to be so functional - no water!

For lunch we stopped at Changde and we were grateful for a higher standard than we had had for the past couple of days. And then, as we approached Changsha, the traffic snarled -it was a holiday-so we were taken for a very early dinner before checking into our hotel.

Changsha is China's 3rd city and it was near here that Mao Tse Tung was born.

That done, and my travel bottle refilled I headed out on my first outing of the day, to get a plug adapter so I could eventually plug in my laptop.
