... along the beach is the Temple to the Goddess of the Sea. It was a miserable day and rained all if the journey to the coast, and then came on to rain while we were there. However it was an amazing place to go and see. We paid 2200RMB, which was about £110 each, but it was somewhere neither of us would have gone on our own, and certainly not a place which is usually on the tourist list of attractions in China. The drive back to Tianjin wax a bit quicker and ...

It's not the fastest train in china but it still goes 160 kmh. It's really annoying that nobody speaks English. Mike says he now understands what a sardine feels like. ...

So today we woke up and had breakfast downstairs in the hotel, it's so weird how the Chinese have noodles and egg fried rice for breakfast as well as lunch and dinner... But thankfully there was some western food like toast and scrambled eggs. We left the hotel and headed to a place on the coast called Laolongtou which is translated as 'Old ...

... Joe and I walked as far as you could go and took some more photos.

We then started going down again to where the car was parked and made our way to the hotel we were staying at. As Steve said when we went in, this was going to be the last bit of luxury in the coming months so we really tried to relish it- the room was brilliant. That evening we had a curry for dinner and played some card games whilst chatting.
