... our apartment complex was a fenced enclosure with 2 rows of prefab buildings with rooms where the transient construction workers were living while working on the new mall. Again, almost magically, the buildings were dismantled one weekend just before CNY and all that remained were masses of garbage strewn over the entire site. I’ve been watching in the mornings on my way to school. First, a few older men were there, picking out ...

The park was really busy and apparently it's always like that... Chinese people are just as crazy on bikes as they are on cars, ringing their bell at everyone and zooming around. I got into the spirit and did the same. ...

The middle of March and the start of March Break for NS and PEI! Unfortunately, we hear there's another big storm going to hammer the Maritimes…L We had a couple of hot humid days a couple of weeks ago and thought that spring was here so we put away the heaters and washed our heavy clothing. Turns out that we jumped the gun; happily for me because I want the cooler weather as long as possible!

Chinese New Year is finally over. The last day ...
