Last Saturday was the Spring Fair at school and it was a resounding success. We raised over $4000.00 for the Nepal Earthquake Relief! Our school population is just 275 kids so families obviously spent a lot of ...

It rained all day Saturday so it was a museum day, but that cleared the air for a perfect week of weather here in Dongguan. From here, they left for Beijing where they joined a tour before travelling on to Korea. It really was wonderful having them all stay with us and they all have lots of ...

... buzzing! It was in a little square, with many shrines and also a massive place to put your burning incense. The whole area was smoky and smelled really nice! There were even giant incense sticks that they were trying to light in these big furnaces but it wasn't really working! Great views, obviously the Buddha was supposed to be the main attraction and it was pretty impressive, we were able to walk halfway up it too. It's obviously not a very old Buddha but it was ...
