    Well, we're into February and if there is a groundhog around here, I don’t think he saw his shadow. Except for 2 days of rain, we had a very pleasant January with temperatures between 12 and 22.     ... 17th overall. He attributes his good conditioning to the 500+ stairs he climbs every day at school taking his PE classes to the gym. Except for a gross looking big toe and a sore neck, he made a speedy recovery and will receive a trophy for his good finish.

    ... of some “veteran” teachers, we found some new food sources which will help – cream cheese and sliced ham. I made Blanche’s mushroom dip last night and it tasted soooo good!

    We know the deep freeze has settled in at home and we’re shivering in empathy. At least there hasn’t been a lot of snow to shovel yet!

    We flew back on New Year’s Day and it was a holiday for many people. Unfortunately, I got food poisoning from the hotel breakfast that morning.
