    ... many stories, if any to share as my single goal was to get from Grants Pass OR to Spokane WA to my friends home in under 12 hours. I made it in 11 hours with only a few necessary stops. Of course one rest stop I needed to stretch my legs and walk around. I let Amelia get some fresh air as well and enjoy some of the play equipment as you can see in the pictures below. ...

    All in all, it was a long day. Oh, the sun was out earlier when we hit this side of the Cascades and it’s been mid 70’s. Checked into a hotel in Spokane about 9:30. We went across the street for a beer and emerged into a thunder storm. Oh well, we have beer!

    ... and walked down to the lake, you can swim in it too, which I can imagine would be really nice on a hot day.

    There were lots of other relatives there for dinner as well, so it was good to have a chat to everyone, dinner was really nice again. I also really like how the sun sets so late, especially because of daylight saving time, it wasn't until about ten that that sun went down, and everyone started to go inside. It had been a really nice evening.
