      ... ramp between 99 and I-5 was no longer there. At Everett I had intended to buy gas at Costco but Costco was closed. Good for the employees; bad for me.       ... are the mountains of the Cascades . . . as the train inches across . . . .       ... as what we'd just been travelling through, but plains narrowing to hills so we were in a kind of gorge.  This opened out to fields of wheat.  There were just acres and acres of grain, and plenty of tractors harvesting.  The gold colour looked amazing against the blue of the sky, so hopefully at least one of my photos comes out.  It's not the easiest taking photos from the back of a fast moving motorbike...  After driving ...
