Sunday Girl
... so we joined. Chang Yu Wine Culture Museum is the only place in Yantai, honoured with a mention in Lonely Planet. It was alright. We skipped through the "history of Yantai wine" galleries. Apparently Yantai is world famous for wine although noone in China seems to drink and Yantai gets very few western visitors… Odd? Anyhow, we saw the wine cellar and Austin made friends with one of the museum staff and so we got our own ...
Party All Night (Sleep All Day)
... us Jack Daniels and we got them some Pimms as a kind of drinking culture swap! When we got hungry we went out into the street to find food. We ate octopus! Well the boys did and I had a brave bite and obviously Lizzie is a vegetarian. The octopus was heavily seasoned so pretty much just tasted like Nandos! The texture was a bit odd though, especially the suckers on the tentacles!
